Welcome to Change Grow Live

From the 1st of July 2021, Change Grow Live will deliver substance misuse services in Sunderland. We are a national charity whose mission is to help people change the direction of their lives, grow as a person and live life to its full potential.

We recognise the important part you play in delivering services. We value your expertise and local knowledge and understand that without you we cannot succeed.

This is the first of a series of bulletins from the implementation team at Change Grow Live, which aims to establish early communications with you to ensure not only the successful transfer of the service but the longer-term joint working relationship.

Our Wear Recovery Service

We will be delivering a recovery-focused service with a full range of treatments and interventions designed to support people to take control of their recovery journey and achieve their recovery goals. Our services will include harm reduction, opiate replacement prescribing, residential and community detoxes, counselling, emotional support, supported access to mutual aid as well as carers support. Support in accessing training, employment and housing will also be available.

We believe that your targets are also our targets; we are both working towards the same end. Our objective is to ensure the successful recovery of service users.

We therefore hope to work closely with you to ensure that we develop an effective working relationship, helping us both achieve this shared goal.
